• His musical influences include Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Waylon Jennings, Joe Ely and Robert Earl Keen.
• He is one of eight children.
• His father was in the Air Force, and also a stage actor, who had starred in musicals, which influenced Pat's love of music.
• Pat learned to play guitar, and started playing in small clubs and bars around Lubbock, while attending Texas Tech. In 1995, he released his first independent record.
