  • Before he got a job helping his father on the family peanut farm, Luke worked at Rubo's, a grocery store in his hometown of Leesburg, Georgia.
  • He has a tattoo of his wife's initials on his butt.
  • On the day he planned to move to Nashville to pursue a career in country music, his brother, Chris, died in a car accident. As a result, Luke decided to put his dreams on hold for a while and go back to college. He eventually moved to Music City a few years later. Tragedy struck again in 2007 when his older sister died unexpectedly.
