• Jason Aldine Williams was born in Macon, Georgia.
• His parents divorced when he was only three, and he lived with his mother during the school year, and spend the summers with his father in Homestead, FL, where his father helped him learn how to play the guitar.
• His musical influences include Alabama, George Strait, John Anderson, Ronnie Milsap, Tracy Lawrence, Hank Williams Jr. and John Mellencamp.
• After high school, he joined a band, and played in college towns in Alabama, Florida and Georgia.
• Early on in his career he was signed to a record deal, but was then dropped. He signed with another label, but was dropped again in 2000 for postponing recording sessions repeatedly.
