Copper Theft in Lower Woodstock; RCMP Seeking To Identify Suspect
500 lbs of copper was stolen from the Cozy Cabins motel in Lower Woodstock, N.B. between February 20 and 23rd. The RCMP wants your help identifying those involved.
The copper was found on the bank of the Saint John River in Lower Woodstock around 6:30 pm on February 23rd. The Cozy Cabins motel had significant electrical and water systems damage due to the theft, said the RCMP.
The incident occurred between February 20 to the 23rd. The suspects would have spent several hours removing the copper from the motel, officials said.
The investigation is continuing.
