Waterfront Concerts announced this morning that ZZ Top, with special guests George Thorogood & The Destroyers and the 'baddest show on earth,' will be helping Maine celebrate this Labor Day weekend with a show at the Maine Savings Amphitheater on Sunday, September 6th.
If you don't already have that Monday off, you may want to ask for it in advance!
The 'Big One' tour will incorporate both powerhouse rock acts. Both bands played the Red Hot Summer Festival in Australia last year (check out the videos below and put any doubt that these rockers still have it to rest!)

The last time "That Little Ol' Band from Texas" was in Maine was in August of 2018 in Portland, when they still had their original lineup, before their beloved bassist and founding member Dusty Hill passed away (in his sleep in 2021.)
The last time 'Lonesome George' was in Maine was 2016, at the Maine State Pier in Portland.
It's been almost a decade since both bands visited the Pine Tree State, so this show is bound to be a popular one for Bangor this year.
