Caribou Sets New Record For Snow On The Ground

It’s been 163 consecutive days and counting of at least an inch of snow or more on the ground in Caribou - starting November 10, 2018 through April 21, 2019. The record before was 155" in 2002-2003.

This winter was the third largest snowfall total in Caribou with 164.7 inches. In 2007-2008, the record was set at 197.8 inches. In 1954-1955, the snow measurement was 181.1”.
