On Monday, October 2, Caribou Police charged 3 different individuals for Operating Under the Influence of Drugs.

Caribou Police responded to a single vehicle crash around 11:05 AM on Monday. A 2002 Chevy Tracker rolled over multiple times and landed on its roof in the driveway of a residence on the West Presque Isle Road. The sole occupant of the vehicle, Joshua Turner, 31, of Fort Fairfield was not injured, said police. Officer Chad Cochran charged Turner with OUI DRUGS and FAILURE TO PRODUCE EVIDENCE OF INSURANCE, Officer Cochran also performed the drug evaluation. Turner had no injuries from the accident is scheduled for court, December 7.

Monday at 2:45 PM, a report came in of a vehicle operating all over the road before pulling into the police station parking lot, police said. Officer Chad Cochran went out and arrested 32-year-old Adam Worsley of Perham for OUI DRUGS, OPERATING AFTER SUSPENSION and a WARRANT. Officer Cochran also performed the drug evaluation. Worsley’s court date is December 7.

Around 6:40 PM Monday evening, Caribou dispatch received a complaint of a driver operating at extremely low speeds on Route 89 and then on Route 1. Officer Kegan McPherson located and stopped 61-year-old Richard Bilodeau of Limestone and arrested him for OUI DRUGS and VIOLATION OF CONDITIONAL RELEASE. Bilodeau’s court date is November 3.

So far in 2017, Caribou Police Officers have charged 30 people with OUI, 9 of which have been drug related. During this same time period last year, there were 27 OUI charges with 6 of them being drug related. If you suspect someone is operating a motor vehicle under the influence, call us at 493-3301.
