Authorities in Brewer say some folks squatting in a building in town were arrested and taken to jail last Thursday.

According to a post on their social media page, the incident took place on South Main Street.

"Brewer Police officers were dispatched to an active criminal trespass complainant in the area of 217 South Main Street in Brewer. Three individuals had broken the gate to the property and gained unauthorized access."

35-year-old Victor Door, 41-year-old Gregory Moors, and 50-year-old Mary Tourison were subsequently arrested and taken to jail.

"A search warrant was later conducted on the vehicle involved in the incident which resulted in a seizure of illegal drugs. "

Each person was charged with Criminal Trespassing and Criminal mischief due to the warrant.

Dorr faces an extra charge of bail violation while Tourison faces drug trafficking charges for selling pot within the 'Safe Zone.'

Sgt. Caron, Cpl. Woodman, Off. Freeman, Off. Curtis, and Off. McFadden were the responding officers.
