Neighbors helping neighbors, that's one of the great things about living here in the County. When someone is down, another is there to raise them up!

There will be a benefit spaghetti supper and silent auction for Eric Schools on Saturday, October 4th from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Houlton Wesleyan Church on Kelleran Street.

Eric experienced a Spinal Stroke on August 11th of this year. He spent 3 weeks in the hospital. After some complications from the stroke, he has been unable to walk on his own since. He will need to learn to walk all over again. He will be out of work for quite some time.

He is attending extensive Acute Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy. He will need to travel to Portland on a regular basis for the time being.

He and his fiance, Kira, have 5 children.

Eric is a very hard working guy. Some of you may know him as your Schwan's guy! He is very determined to get back on his feet and get back to work.

But in the meantime, support and prayers from the community and friends & family are needed and greatly appreciated! A Spaghetti Supper & Silent Auction are being planned.

If anyone is interested in lending a helping hand on that day or donating anything to put in the auction, both are still needed at this time. You can learn more here.

If you would like to make a monetary donation, a site has been set up through GoFundMe. Click here to donate.
