We’re excited to announce Amelia Matwyko of Houlton GHCA as our Spring Week Two Athlete of the Week! Amelia delivered an incredible performance—collecting five hits, driving in seven runs, and leading GHCA to two big wins on the mound. This well-deserved recognition places her alongside Olivia Edgecomb of Presque Isle as a standout of the spring season. Voting took place from May 12 through May 15, and the community made their voices heard.

Our local student-athletes give their all—on the field, in the classroom, and in our community. Now’s your chance to recognize their dedication and drive! Nominations for Athlete of the Week are open, and we’re looking for students who have gone above and beyond between May 12 and May 17. Whether it’s a clutch play, a personal best, or the quiet leadership that lifts a team, we want to hear their story.
