Clem is a native of Old Town and has covered sports locally for 20 years. As a lifelong resident of the area, he knows the importance of local sports to the communities and the passion that fans in those communities have for their teams. In 1999, Clem was named Maine Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association. Additionally he has received 18 awards form the Maine Association of Broadcasters and the Maine Associated Press for his work in reporting and play-by-play. Some of his most memorable moments in sports include the UMaine women’s basketball win over Stanford in the NCAA Tournament, attending the “Snow Bowl” game when the Patriots beat the Raiders in the AFC playoffs and calling the Senior League World Series Championship when Bangor played Aruba. Clem is a graduate of Old Town High School and the New England School of Communications and lives in Bradley.
