I answer to my middle name. I love peanut butter. So does my oldest and my youngest boys. My middle boy hates peanut butter. My oldest, who’s a girl, could take it or leave it. How many kids do I have? That’s important because I talk about them a lot on my show…weekdays from 3pm-6pm on The Rock. Sometimes Doug joins me. He’s not my kid but he acts like it sometimes. We like to wax poetic about football, growing up in the 80s and Rock and Roll. If you call the show we may put you on the air. We may not…it depends on our mood. I play guitar. I’m addicted to caffeine and I have a myriad of useless rock and roll trivia stashed in my noggin’! Go ahead, test me. Not to ruin any street cred but I even like a little country music. Don’t be hatin’. I like long walks on the beach but if you try to take me on the wrong day, I may cut you. God, Family, Country and Rock and Roll. Raise yo fists!

‘Country Gold with Randy Owen’ Comes to Big Country!
I love country music. I love the stories, the lifestyle and real down home feel of it all. I grew up with it but at the time it was NOT my favorite. My mother played it all the time and it drove me crazy. As I've grown older and have a family of my own my tastes have changed. Today's country is great, for the most part, but if you're a fan of classic country music, Big Country gets even bigger on
