Wood Scores Career High 25, Maine Wins

The UMaine women's basketball team got back in the win column with a 58-53 win over Brown University at the Cross Center.Liz Wood scored a career high 25 points including 5 3-pointers and grabbed 5 rebounds to lead the bears to their second win of the season. Anna Heise was the only other player in double figures with 12 points and 5 rebounds of her own. The Maine bench also outscored Brown 13-7.

The Bears will play the final game of their holiday tournament Sunday against Boston College with a 1pm tip-off at the Cross Center.
