The RCMP is investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash on the Trans-Canada Highway just below Woodstock, New Brunswick.

Police responded to the call shortly before 8:30 this morning in the westbound lanes near Meductic, about halfway between Woodstock and Nackawic.

Woodstock RCMP say 2 women and 2 children were in the vehicle. One woman died at the scene.

The other woman and the 2 children were taken to the hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The names of the victims have not yet been released.

It's believed the driver lost control of the vehicle, which then rolled several times. A collision reconstructionist is assisting in the investigation as the RCMP is working to determine what caused the fatal crash.
