Woman Dies in Rollover Crash in Beechwood, N.B.

Police say a 64-year-old woman from Grand Falls was killed Thursday evening in a single-vehicle crash in northern Carleton County.

West District RCMP were called to a crash on Route 105 in Beechwood shortly after 7 p.m., according to Cpl. Mathieu Gallienne of the Woodstock Detachment.

Police say the car left the road and overturned, coming to rest at the bottom of a steep bank. The woman driving the car died at the scene. She was the only person in the vehicle.

RCMP say the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
