The National Weather Service Office in Caribou has issued a Winter Storm Watch from Wednesday right through Thursday afternoon saying that significant snow and sleet is likely for Northern Maine and Western New Brunswick.

Snow accumulations of 6 to 10 inches are possible with the highest totals in the far northwest, along with up to an inch of sleet in the belt extending from far northeast Maine across the region.

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Please continue to monitor for the latest forecasts.
