The University of Maine played a rare non-conference game against an in-state opponent and came away with an 82-42 win over the Colby Mules.It was a chance for Colby Head Coach and former Black Bear Julie Veilleux to face her former team in a step-up game for her White Mules who were over matched from the start.

Maine used 11 players in the game and they all scored at least one point. Sigi Koizar scored a game high 16 points while Chantel Charles added 11. Liz Wood grabbed a game high 10 rebounds to go along with her 9 points.

Colby was led by former Cony High School star Mia Diplock who finished with 9 points.

Maine will now go back on the road for a game Friday at Northeastern and a stop at Dartmouth on Sunday.
