UMaine Catcher Named Player of the Week

The University of Maine baseball team swept a weekend series from Binghamton and Kevin Stypulkowski played a key role.The Black Bear junior catcher batted .556 for the weekend with2 homeruns, 6 runs batted in and 4 runs scored. In Saturday's second game he drove in the game-tying run and scored the game winner.

Stypulkowski and the Bears will play a non-conference game at Boston College Tuesday before closing out the regular season at Albany this weekend. Maine needs one win in that series to clinch a spot in the America East tournament.
