UMaine women's soccer returns two of its top three scorers and America East Conference coaches think the Black Bears will finish third among the nine conference teams.

AE coaches have picked UAlbany and Hartford as the teams to beat this fall.

A year ago, Maine(9-8-2, 4-3-1) finished in the 4th place and bowed out of the playoffs in the semi-final round.

Veteran coach Scott Atherley returns 12 players from last year, including AE Rookie of the Year Vivien Beil, and 13 newcomers.

The Black Bears open their season at LIU-Brooklyn on August 19th.
