Two People Face Charges After Moncton Drug Bust
Codiac RCMP say a man and woman face drug charges after a search turned up narcotics at a residence in Moncton.
Police executed a search warrant at a home in the Elmwood Drive area around 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.
During the search, Mounties say they seized a quantity of pills believed to be hydromorphone, a very potent opioid drug.
A 34-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man, both of Moncton, were released on promises to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on December 22 to face various drug related charges.
RCMP say a third person arrested on Tuesday, a 44-year old man from Elsipogtog First Nation, was later released.
The investigation continues.
