RCMP say 29-year-old Jason Bigger of Debec and 34-year-old Thomas Ferguson of Woodstock were arrested last Thursday during a traffic stop on Highway 105 in Southampton, New Brunswick.  The store's owner said two men forced their way into the store in the early hours Thursday and made off with liquor and cigarettes.

Bigger and Ferguson are charged with using a shotgun to commit a break and enter, and having their faces masked in the commission of a crime, among other charges.  Bigger was also charged with refusal to provide a breath sample.  Earlier charges of possession of property obtained through crime were withdrawn by the Crown, according to Sgt. Don Daigle of the Woodstock Detachment.

Both men were being held in custody and are expected to appear in Woodstock Provincial Court  on April 7.

A woman who was arrested during the traffic stop on March 19 was subsequently released without charge.
