Clark was promoted to the rank of Detective and will become part of the Major Crimes Unit North in Aroostook County.

Clark joined the State Police in 2000 as a member of the 47th Maine State Police Training Troop.  Upon graduation from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy, he was assigned to Troop J where he patrolled Washington and Hancock Counties.  In 2003 Clark transferred to Troop F patrolling the Central and Southern Aroostook Areas.  In 2004 Clark became a K-9 handler and partnered with K-9 ‘Hanno’ as a team certified in patrol and drug work.  K-9 ‘Hanno’ was retired in 2010 and Clark was assigned as an Agent with Maine Drug Enforcement in Aroostook County.  In 2013, Clark returned to Troop F and was named the Troop F Trooper of the Year nominee for 2013.
