April 19 - Troopers Marquis, Casavant and Endre responded to Portage to assist Border Patrol with a suspicious traffic stop dealing with a Massachusetts vehicle and operator. As a result of the investigation, the female was summonsed for illegal attachment.

April 20 - Troopers Saucier and Marquis provided intoxilyzer certification training for Fort Kent PD.

April 20 – Trooper Bell took a report from a citizen that a female had crashed her car in Hodgdon and was impaired. Tpr. Bell arrived on-scene and the female driver appeared to be very intoxicated. The female showed multiple clues on standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested for OUI-alcohol. The female refused a breath test at Aroostook County Jail.

April 20 - Troopers Sucy, Quint, and Michaud responded to a trailer park in Mapleton for a report of harassment. In the course of the investigation it was discovered that the owner of the trailer park was a felon and in possession of a handgun along with 6 other firearms. Trooper Sucy charged the male with a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

April 20 – Trooper Sucy summoned a male for OAS in Presque Isle. The male was also summoned for no insurance and not wearing a seat belt.

April 21 - Trooper Casavant investigated a burglary at the Methodist Church in Mapleton. Items were taken from the church and Trooper Hafford collected evidence as part of the Evidence Response Team. The investigation is ongoing with a similar break in Caribou and Stockholm. More details here.

April 22 - Troopers Sylvia and Endre investigated a theft of medication from a mailbox in Hodgdon. The investigation is ongoing.

April 22 - Trooper Lilley stopped a vehicle in Oakfield for not displaying a sticker, after investigation female was arrested for operating under the influence and transported to ASO.

April 23 - Trooper Luce and Trooper Quint responded to an unattended death of a 76-year-old female in Eagle Lake. Nothing unusual or suspicious noted.

April 23 - Trooper Darcy charged a 26-year-old Monticello man with Operating after Suspension as the result of a traffic stop on I-95 in Dyer Brook. Trooper Darcy received information about the man driving from Trooper Bell who was off duty in his personal vehicle.

April 23 – Trooper Sucy arrested a male on a warrant in Wade.

April 24 – Trooper Sucy arrested a Male on a warrant in Monticello.

April 24 – Troopers Luce and Quint, along with Dep. Foley of the ASO, responded to the Allagash after information was received that a homicide suspect from Michigan was possibly in the area. After talking to locals and checking with investigators from Michigan, it was determined that the information was not credible and there was no indication that the suspect was ever in Northern Maine.

April 25 - Trooper Marquis responded to a family fight in Perham where a man and wife are in the process of getting a divorce and she returned to get some belongings and broke a picture before leaving. The male didn’t want her charged or warned not to return in fear it would disrupt their divorce settlement, but just wanted it on record in the event her behavior continued. The man was encouraged to get a protection order if her behavior continued.

April 25 – Trooper Sucy arrested a male on a warrant in Bridgewater.

April 26 - Trooper Sylvia and K9 ‘Merry’ were called to track a robbery suspect in Houlton. The male was identified through surveillance and the clerk when he showed his Maine Care Card. The man did not produce a weapon and made off with a small amount of cash and cigarettes. Several residences were checked in Houlton, but the man, who is well known to law enforcement, has yet to be located. Sgt. Haines and Trooper Endre also assisted. More details here.

April 26 – Trooper Sucy arrested an individual in Mars Hill on a warrant.

Troop F of the Maine State Police is responsible for Aroostook County and the extreme northern sections of Somerset, Piscataquis and Penobscot counties.
