State Troopers responded to a tractor-trailer rollover on Interstate 95 near Oakfield on Thursday afternoon. The crash happened shortly before 3 p.m.

Police say the tractor trailer went off the right side of the highway and flipped over onto its passenger side.

The driver, 75-year-old Herman Long of Daytona Beach, Florida, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from his 2007 Volvo through the passenger door window. 

Sgt. Jeffrey Clark of the Maine State Police said Long suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported by ambulance to Houlton Regional Hospital.

State Police were assisted by Houlton Fire and Ambulance, Oakfield Fire Department, and Maine DOT. 

Troopers from the Maine State Police Commercial Vehicle Unit were also on scene.  The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
