Tom’s of Maine – 50 States for Good Initiative

Wouldn't it be awesome to spruce up your community's playground with funds that your community won?

Good news! It is possible, thanks to Tom's of Maine! For the 5th straight year, Tom’s of Maine is taking nominations for its ‘‘50 States for Good’’ initiative.

Starting tomorrow, Tom's will be accepting nominations for nonprofit organizations to have a chance to share in $150,000 in funding. The program's goal is to fund grassroots community projects, with previous winners getting grants for initiatives like sustainable nature trails, community playgrounds and shelter for the homeless.

A panel of judges will choose 51 finalists — one from each state and the District of Columbia — before a final public vote in September that will determine the 15 organizations that will win $10,000 each.

You can make your nomination starting tomorrow and right through July 1st.
