Tim White Memorial Fishing Tournament Helps Raise Funds For Students
You may have prepared your rod and reel and dropped a few lines already. If you like a good fishing tournament, then don't miss this great, fundraising event.
Tim White was vice president of White Brothers Construction in Westbrook. Unfortunately, Tim was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, which took his life in 2010.
His brothers, Dana and Mike Littlefield, decided to start a fishing tournament in Tim's name that summer.
Since then, the tournament has raised money to help the AGC Maine Education Foundation, which helps students with education expenses related to the construction field.
The Tim White Memorial Fishing Tournament has been billed as 'The Best Fishing Tournament In The County!" It is certainly for a great cause.
The tournament is Thursday, June 15th, and Friday, June 16th, at the Long Lake Sporting Club.
