Fresh off two huge wins at the 2017 ACM Awards, Thomas Rhett is still reveling in his new Song of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year titles. Even after the show was over on Sunday night (April 2), Rhett had few words to express the evening's events, simply calling it "surreal."

"It's just amazing," Rhett told Entertainment Tonight post-show. "Winning Song of the Year was pretty spectacular, because "Die a Happy Man"'s first win ever was last year at this same awards show for Single of the Year. So, I feel like this song has given me a year's worth of benefits. And then Male Vocalist -- still don't have really much to say about. That is the most surreal award I've ever been given."

Nominated alongside Jason AldeanDierks BentleyKeith Urban and Chris Stapleton for Male Vocalist of the Year, Rhett was completely shocked by his win. He'd bet on Stapleton.

"My heart is actually still racing from being up there," Rhett said. "Just being surrounded by that much talent [was amazing]. I've toured with all these people. And people like Chris Stapleton, man ... what an undeniable voice and talent. I'm just so grateful for this award, 'cause that's the coolest thing that's ever happened to me."

While Rhett didn't plan to repeat his post-show party plans from 2016, when he and Brett Eldredge stayed up until 6AM and headed to the airport without ever going to bed, the singer admitted that he and his wife were definitely planning to celebrate ... even though she's 22 weeks pregnant!

"She's been a party animal!" Rhett said of his wife Lauren, who is expecting their first child later this year. "For being 22 weeks pregnant, that girl is ready to party ... she is the best craps player. If you get the chance to sit at a table with Lauren, you will sit there for an hour while she rolls dice. It's amazing. It really is."

And, of course, Rhett did end up getting into at least one silly shenanigan. Early Monday morning (April 3), he posted a video to Instagram of himself jumping into a pool. In the middle of an after-party. With Luke Bryan. Readers can see it below.

Rhett is currently on the road for his Home Team Tour and just finished recording his third album. The newly crowned Male Vocalist of the Year performed one of the record's new tracks at the 52nd annual ACMs: He and Maren Morris took the stage to perform his latest single, "Craving You," which dropped just days earlier, on March 31.
