Maine's Austin Theriault jumped back in the #29 NASCAR truck and raced it to a 12th place finish in Friday night's in Miami.

Theriault got medical clearance to race the Brad Kesolowski owned truck on Thursday after rehabbing injuries suffered in that crash back on October 3rd at the Las Vegas track.

His first day ever racing at the Homestead-Miami track was eventful - practice in the morning, qualifying 18th in the afternoon and the 12th place finish at night.

Theriault was scheduled to race in 13 of the 23 Camping World Truck Series event but ended up competing in just nine.

He finished 24th in driver points with four top-10 finishes and two were top-5 finishes.

Theriault will not be back in the #29 truck next year. He is seeking sponsorship deals to race at some level of NASCAR.
