Moments from the hustle and bustle of L.L. Bean and the outlet stores in Freeport, Maine, lies a tiny, old cemetery in the parking lot of a Shaw's grocery store. It is likely unnoticed by the thousands of shoppers who drive down Freeport's Main Street everyday.

Sitting under the shade of mature pines and surrounded by a 3-foot crumbling rock wall, the peaceful resting place contains just over a dozen graves (ranging from headstones to just unmarked stone markers). Some of the headstones date as far back as 1840.

The cemetery is in fact the Randall Family Cemetery, which was originally part of a family farm, and is now a grocery store.
