Americana / roots-rock group the Walcotts are premiering the music video for their song “Let Me Take You Home Tonight” exclusively for readers of The Boot.

Packed full of lush harmonies, pedal steel, fiddle and upbeat piano, “Let Me Take You Home Tonight” is the kind of track you’d expect to be paired with a video filmed in front of a live audience -- which is perfect, since that's just what the Walcotts did. Readers can press play on the video above to get a peek at the Walcotts' energetic live shows; the "Let Me Take You Home Tonight" clip was directed by Max Knight.

Formed in 2012, the Walcotts have placed their music on TV and in movies, and they've earned a reputation as a powerful live act. In fact, if you’ve seen Chris Stapleton out on tour recently, you’ve likely caught a few songs from the Walcotts: The nine-piece band opened for Stapleton on several West Coast dates at the end of 2015. With one listen of “Let Me Take You Home Tonight," it will be easy to see why the Walcotts and their rich harmonies and vintage instrumentation were a perfect choice to share the stage with Stapleton.

“Let Me Take You Home Tonight” appears on Let the Devil Win, the Walcotts’ debut album, released back in September; the project is available for download on iTunes. The Walcotts are currently touring the U.S., with upcoming dates in Chicago, New York City, Atlanta and Nashville; further details are available on their official website.
