What makes you happy? Your spouse and children? Maybe, giving back to your community or those less fortunate? The career advice blog Zippia has recently done a post about the happiest places in Maine. They looked at 28 cities and towns in Maine and they based their rankings on the criteria of employment rates, percentage of married adults,home ownership, education, short work commute, low cost of living and poverty rate. Here's the top ten.

2. Topsham
3. Yarmouth
4. Brewer
5. Caribou
6. Gorham
7. Winslow
8. Gardiner
9. South Portland
10. Brunswick

Augusta came in 20th of the 28 cities and towns rated. Waterville ranked at 24 and Skowhegan was 15th. Lewiston came in at 28 out of the 28 rated in the study. Take a look at the findings right here.
