Team Maine Roller Derby Preps for Big Tournament in Florida

Team Maine Roller Derby will be having a double header scrimmage, November 7th at the Skehan Rec Center in Hamden - taking on the Shipyard Sirens of New Brunswick.

A second bout is scheduled the same day against the men of Casco Bay Gentleman's Derby.

This is in preparation for Team Maine Roller Derby's trip to Daytona Beach for the annual State Wars Roller Derby Tournament - State Wars is the coming together of all star players representing their home states. It is a three day, double elimination tournament. (Team Maine is made up of some of the best players in Maine from five different teams).

Team Maine Roller Derby's mission is to be ambassadors for the rapidly growing sport of roller derby and to best represent the State of Maine.
