It is becoming quite evident that Junichi Tazawa doesn't have much left in the tank these days. He turned a one run 8th inning Sox lead into a 4-run deficit in a matter of minutes Friday night in Tampa Bay. The Rays beat the Sox 8-4.

Tazawa, once one of the the best 8th inning guys in baseball, has a 5.40 ERA since the allstar break.

Leading 4-3 going into the 8th, Tazawa gave up a double to start the inning, them proceeded to give up a single, wild pitch, home run, single, wild pitch, stolen base and finally a strikeout before being lifted.

Xander Bogaerts led the Sox on offense with three hits and raising his batting average to .321.

The Sox are at the start of a nine game roadtrip against AL East teams.
