Jaren Johnston collaborated with Ballard on 'Sunshine & Whiskey'. When you work with Johnston, you kind of made it. Jaren has worked with Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town among many other huge stars.

Ballard also works with other arrists and co-wrote for Big and Rich on their album, Gravity.
