United Way of Aroostook is looking for approximately 25 volunteers to serve on its Fund Distribution Task Force.

Another season has wrapped up for Aroostook Football and organizers are looking forward to continued expansion of the youth program.

Nearly 300 people filled the Presque Isle Elks Lodge on Main Street in Presque Isle on Christmas Day in order to participate in the eleventh annual Elks Family Christmas Dinner.

An event like the 2014 Youth/Junior Biathlon World Championships at the Nordic Heritage Center in Presque Isle is no small task to pull off. In addition to the generous support of all of the sponsors, over 400 volunteers are helping to make this event run smoothly.

Volunteerism plays a key role in being able to actually pull off an event such as the  2014 IBU Youth/Junior Biathlon World Championships that will be kicking off in Presque Isle next week.
