A Remembrance Day will be held in Houlton in memory and honor of Prisoners of War, those Missing in Action and those were were Killed in Action. The event will be held at Houlton's Monument Park on Sunday, September 14th, 2014.
Many folks have today off from work and school in celebration of Veterans Day in the U.S. and Remembrance Day in Canada, but let us not forget just why we have are lucky enough to have the day off.
Respect is a big thing in Canada, and so is honoring those who have served their country. Canadians take great pride in their country, with good reason.
