Aroostook Aspirations Initiative is set to host its annual Scholar Weekend from July 15 to 17 with many of the events taking place at Northern Maine Community College in Presque Isle.

Pineland Farms Commits to Donating 50K to Aroostook Aspirations Initiative
Aroostook Aspirations received more positive news this week.  Pineland Farms, known in Aroostook for their Naturally Potatoes plant, announced today that the Mars Hill based company has committed to a $50,000 donation, payable at the rate of $10,000 per year beginning in2014, to the Aroostook Aspirations Initiative.

Students participating in the first-of-its-kind Heidi’s Hope Serve-a-Thon on October 18 in Houlton are literally going to the dogs and reaching out to help other kids. The community has rallied around the Houlton Humane Society (HHS) and other community projects all for Heidi's Hope, an innovative way to connect kids and community.
