"Soulgrass" four-piece Sweetwater String Band are premiering the music video for their new song “Window” exclusively for readers of The Boot. Press play above to watch.

Shot by Michael Bye, the music video for “Window” features the Sweetwater String Band performing the song in a serene, bucolic Western-esque setting. Comprised of Dave Huebner on vocals and cello, Scott Roberts on mandolin and vocals, Jeff Meadway on guitar and Patrick Ferguson on bass, the Sweetwater String Band blend their unique brand of soulful modernity with classic bluegrass sensibilities. Huebner’s cello playing provides a unique backdrop for his bandmates to round out the breezy, earthy “Window.”

Sweetwater String Band formed in California in 2008 and started out by playing weekly bar gigs. Their music covers both the serious (workers' rights, politics) and the not so serious (ghost stories, drinking songs). "Window" will appear on their forthcoming thrid album, At Night; according to the band, the album explores the plight of love, nature and the “curiosities of human experience.”

At Night is set for release on Sept. 29. Visit SweetwaterStringBand.com to learn more.
