State Police responded to the single-vehicle rollover at approximately 10:20 p.m. on the Soldier Pond Road.  Sgt. Josh Haines stated that 19-year-old Ryan Macnaught of New Gloucester was driving his 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer when he lost control on a sharp corner at the intersection of the B&A Siding Road.  He said Macnaught was traveling too fast for the slippery road conditions.

The SUV skidded across the railroad tracks and rolled over, ending up on its side on the ice of the river.  Macnaught and his three passengers, 18-year-old Mariah Kendall of Philips, Maine, 19-year-old Desirae Lagasse of Lincoln and 18-year-old Taylorae Carter of Calais all sustained minor injuries and were treated either at the scene or at Northern Maine Medical Center in Fort Kent.

State Police said all four teens were wearing seat belts and the truck was towed from the ice due to disabling damage.  Trooper Dan Marquis investigated and was assisted by the Fort Kent Fire Department and Ambulance Service.
