Sturgill Simpson has announced a string of tour dates for 2017. The singer-songwriter will play a number of festivals throughout the spring and summer, followed by fall shows at amphitheaters and concert halls.

Simpson's first 2017 tour date is on March 4, at the Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival in Okeechobee, Fla.; festival shows in Kentucky, Alabama and Japan follow in July. A few non-festival stops are on Simpson's calendar in May and July, but his non-festival tour dates really pick up in September. A complete list of Simpson's 2017 tour dates is below; tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Feb. 16, and more information is available on Simpson's official website.

Since releasing his debut album, High Top Mountain, in 2013, Simpson has earned a bevy of fans, as well as critical praise, with his traditional sound and style. A Sailor’s Guide to Earth — his first project since signing with Atlantic Records, released in 2016 — debuted at No. 1 on the country albums chart and at No. 3 on Billboard‘s all-genre 200 chart; it also received two nominations for the 2017 Grammy Awards, one for Best Country Album and the other for the all-genre Album of the Year. Simpson will be performing during the 2017 Grammys ceremony as well.
