Maine Marine Patrol shared photos of what appears to be a model boat with the lettering "B.C. Smith" emblazoned on the bow. The masts and other parts of the miniature vessel appear to be constructed of old lobster trap parts.

The curious watercraft was found floating near Great Wass Island, a popular destination for hiking and wildlife sightings. Maine Marine Patrol are searching for any information as to where this blue boat began it's voyage. It is currently docked at Jonesport Lobster Co-op until it's owner is discovered. If you recognize it, contact the Maine Marine Patrol.
