Here’s a list of the latest cancellations, delays and closings from around our area.

Schools:

Millinocket Schools closed January 30, 2015

University of Maine at Augusta will close at 1pm today, January 30. This includes the Houlton campus.

Events:

Cheerleading practice scheduled for this Saturday at the Presque Isle Rec Department has been cancelled.

Below are the January 31 athletic cancellations for Presque Isle High School:

Girls Varsity Basketball @ John Bapst -- Rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 3 @ 4:00PM @ Cross Center.

Boys Varsity Basketball @ John Bapst  -- Rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 4 @ 4:00PM @ Cross Center.

Varsity Ice Hockey @ Winslow -- Rescheduled for Saturday, February 14. Time TBA @ Sukee Arena.

The Houlton-Hodgdon Blackhawks hockey game scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed due to the anticipated weather conditions.

East Grand and Wisdom high school Basketball games in Danforth scheduled for this afternoon have been postponed.

Due to the updated forecast the Hermon at Caribou basketball games have been postponed until next Friday, Feb. 6th. The girls will play at 5:00 and the boys at 6:30.

Houlton at Calais Girls high school basketball Games scheduled for tonight have been postponed.

Faith Formation Program in Caribou. The event is a Chicken Stew Dinner/Dance that was to take place this Saturday, Jan. 31st, but due to the impending snow storm they are postponing the event to Feb. 7th.

The Harley Peterson and the Music Ranch Band have canceled their show tonight at the Knights of Columbus in Woodstock.

VFW Karaoke Night in Fort Fairfield Is cancelled for tonight.

Harvest Inn Social Club in Caribou is CLOSED today.

Benefit Breakfast for Kim Grant at the Meductic Community Centre has been postponed and rescheduled for next Saturday, Feb.7.
