Storm Cancellations for February 28
The final day of February promises to dump several more inches of snow on Aroostook County, bringing snowfall totals for the month to nearly 3 feet. According to the National Weather Service Office in Caribou, that's about 1 foot above normal for February. Here are the latest cancellations:
Caribou Parks and Rec. Department has cancelled after school programs for today including boys 5th and 6th grade basketball and the skiing program. The Caribou Wellness Center will remain open, but please call ahead.
All after-school activities at SAD 32 (Ashland Schools) are cancelled.
All Caribou Adult Education classes are cancelled for today (RSU 39)
Madawaska Adult Ed is cancelled (MSAD #33)
All after school activities at SAD 27 (Fort Kent) are cancelled. There will be no late bus today.
The Wintergreen Arts Center in Presque Isle is Cancelling “Girl’s Night Out” due to the weather.
