Aroostook County and Western New Brunswick are in the heart another winter storm dumping lots of snow and bringing some high wind gusts with it.

Schools:

The University of Maine at Presque Isle campus is closed Saturday.

 

Events:

Houlton Recreation Department Pee Wee & Tykes basketball games for today, Saturday, January  31st are cancelled.

Houlton-Hodgdon Blackhawks hockey game scheduled for today has been postponed.


The Carleton North Stars home game in Florenceville-Bristol is cancelled for tonight due to bad weather conditions.

Due to the inclement weather the Presque Isle Recreation Department's Hot Shot competition is cancelled for today. Tomorrow's new shoot time will be 9:00 am- 12:00 pm.

The Nordic Heritage Sport Club's Youth Ski Program is cancelled for today.

Cub Scout Pack #205 have postponed their Pinewood Derby scheduled for today. It will now take place next Saturday, February 7th at Rockabema Lodge.

The Fredericton Indoor Pool will be closing immediately. Swimming lessons for this morning are cancelled. Status will be reassessed at noon.

Benefit Breakfast for Kim Grant at the Meductic Community Centre postponed to next Saturday, Feb. 7.

Red Cross Swimming Lessons at Carleton Civic Centre cancelled.

Public Swim Lessons at the Carleton Civic Centre on Saturday morning are cancelled.

Hartland Outdoor Curling is cancelled.

All classes at Sylvan Learning Centre of Florenceville-Bristol and Fredericton are cancelled.

River Valley Gymnastics is closed - no recreational or competitive classes.
