It looks like Stony Brook men's coach Greg Pikiell is turning his America East Conference title and NCAA appearance into a new job with Rutgers.

ESPN's Jeff Goodman is reporting that Pikiell will be named the next Rutgers coach, replacing Eddie Jordan who has been at Rutgers for three season (29-68).

Pikiell and his Seawolves won America East with a 24-6 record. They lost to Kentucky in the opening round of the NCAA tourney.

Pikiell has been at Stony Brook for 11 years. Six of the last seven seasons have netted 20 win years.

The move opens up one of the premier jobs in America East.
