Police say a man stole a tractor trailer in Hartland, New Brunswick and crashed it into a house early Thursday morning. 


Woodstock RCMP is investigating the crash in Wilmot that occurred at approximately 2 a.m.  Police say the male driver intentionally drove the truck into a residence and then fled the scene.  No one was injured but the house was pushed off its foundation and sustained significant damage.

Police have confirmed that the transport truck had been stolen from a business in Hartland.

No arrests had been made as of Thursday afternoon, according to Cpl. Chantal Farrah of the RCMP in New Brunswick.

The investigation is continuing.
