Stolen ATVs Recovered from Plaster Rock Area

Members of the Perth-Andover and Woodstock detachments of the West District RCMP have recovered two all-terrain vehicles that were reported stolen last week.

On August 15, shortly after 8 a.m., a dark green, 2010 Polaris Sportsman and a blue, 2007 Yamaha ATV were reported stolen from a storage garage in the Plaster Rock area.

Through the investigation, police were able to locate the ATVs behind a residence in Wapske. The vehicles were not damaged.

The investigation into the thefts is ongoing. A Husqavarna chainsaw (model 254SE) and an outboard motor were also reported stolen at the time, and have yet to be recovered.
