Steve Moakler knew he needed a love interest to star in the music video for his song "Suitcase." He didn't have to search far: the video (which you can watch above) features Moakler's real life love interest, his wife, Gracie.

"There has to be a girl in the video and I can't imagine having another girl," Moakler tells People.

The video for "Suitcase" finds the couple on a picturesque adventure, packing up that title suitcase and hitting the road in a gorgeous camper. In between, they take time to play guitar, take in the scenery (the video was shot in the scenic Hollywood Hills), and flirt, while Moakler sings:

"I'd be fine watching you watch the sun go down / With your head on my chest and a blanket on the ground / 'Cause everybody wants to chase the rainbow and find that pot of gold / Hopin' for a suitcase full of money / But all I want is you, honey."

"Suitcase" is one of five songs on Moakler's latest, the Steve Moakler EP. In a way, Moakler says, the album centers around the tune.

“To me, [“Suitcase”] is really the heart of it. It’s the heart of the album, the nexus …,” he tells The Boot. “It goes a little left, a little right, from there, but that really represents the sound of what we’re doing.”

"Suitcase" is actually the only song on the EP that Moakler didn't write or co-write (it was written by Luke Laird, Barry Dean and Thomas Rhett) -- but he certainly has songwriting chops. You've probably heard Moakler's biggest hit as a songwriter: the Dierks Bentley tune, "Riser" (which Moakler co-wrote).

If you want hear more of his songwriting, it's featured on the album's other four tracks, including "Steel Town," which he co-wrote with Casey Beathard.
