Stephen Colbert Interviews Smaug!

Ahead of next week's release of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, Stephen Colbert of The Colbert Report interviewed the Great Worm himself, Smaug the Terrible!

Stephen Colbert himself famously appeared alongside his wife and kids as cameos in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug last year. Colbert is one of the most well-known Tolkien superfans, and even claims to speak Elvish!

The Battle of the Five Armies opens in the US and Canada on Wednesday, December 17th.
