Ryan Spooner was the hero for the Boston Bruins in Montreal Monday night. An overtime goal the B's a 2-1 over their arch rival. A much needed victory after three straight losses.

It was another epic battle between these old franchises. Austin Czarnik scored in the second period to give the B's a 1-0 lead. Paul Byron scored for the Canadiens with about three minutes left in regulation to tie it.

The Bruins appeared to have won the game in OT but a goal was waved off because of goalie interference.

Finally, at the 3:20 mark of overtime, Spooner walked in and beat Carey Price through the 5-hole for the win.

It is Boston's first win against Montreal goalie Carey Price since February of 2013.

Tuukka Rask made 30 saves for the win.

The Bruins are 16-12-2.
